A charming pavilion for Anne of Denmark (wife of
James 1) which also served as a ‘bridge’ across the main road that separated the Tudor palace of
Greenwich from the Royal Park. The windows are Georgian and the colonnades and flanking buildings
were added in the early 19th. century when the building was used as an
orphanage.
