TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All prices and the availability of works shown on this website may alter without notice. Please contact Peter Luty for up-to-date information on prices and availability.

All prices exclude packing and delivery charges.

Unframed works are sent flat, fully protected between sheets of hardboard, using Royal Mail Standard 48 hour Parcel Service. A typical drawing or print might cost in the region of £15 for postage and packing in mainland UK. This includes compensation for loss or damage up to £500. Smaller items can be sent by Special Delivery Next Day at a cost of about £20 for postage and packing in mainland UK including compensation for loss or damage of up to £1,000.

Framed works are sent fully protected between sheets of hardboard using Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service. It should be noted that glazed works are sent without the glass. You will have to arrange for the work to be glazed and sealed at the back by your local picture framer. Full instructions are included. It is not practical to send glazed works by Royal Mail due to the potential damage that might be caused to the work by broken glass. A typical painting might cost in the region of £30 for postage and packing in mainland UK. This includes compensation for loss or damage up to £500. Parcelforce is used to deliver framed works where the buyer requests compensation up to £1,000. Here the typical cost might be in the region of £48.

A specialist fine art shipper can be used to deliver a work where the work is fully protected in a purpose-made wooden crate. With this service it is possible to send framed works fully glazed, ready to hang. Unfortunately, this service costs in the region of £200 for delivery to mainland UK.

Alternatively, works can be collected from Peter Luty’s studio in south east London.

Currently, paintings, drawings and prints may be purchased only by cheque or banker’s draft. Works will be despatched once cheques for the full amount of the purchase price and delivery have cleared.

Original prints are hand printed on fine paper. Some slight variation and imperfection in the finish is inevitable and forms part of the style of the work.
